Yesterday afternoon, was invited to the VR Star Models 2008 Opening Ceremony at Leisure Mall and it's truly an eye opener for me. Not because this is a first time I attended an event cause I've attended numerous before this but it's the camaraderie and teamwork among fellow photographers that are of a surprise. This is the first time I attend an event where I have to shove and push against other photo journalist to get the best pictures. So, to the guys of ShutterAsia, you guys are great!
As there's a competition for photography during this event, I decide to try my hands at taking some pictures and submitting them, let's pray for me to win something out of this. There's loads of professional photographers there but I feel that some of my pictures are not that bad either. What do you think? I think Amber Chia's one of the organizer of the event and if you are a listener of 988, DJ Nicholas was there to emcee the whole event as well. Even though the whole thing is short, it's still fun.
If you're from the organizers and you are reading this, may I suggest that for the next round, get the girls to hang around longer and poses more, maybe they are inexperienced but they were quite 'shy' when asked to pose. Do feel free to comment as well as I'd like to learn where I can improve in terms of my skill. Thank You
