Smashing Friday

Friday afternoon proves to be a very unfortunate and lousy afternoon. With my day's schedule all planned out, I decide to go out and get some treat for my colleagues and drove my car to do so. That little road trip during lunch time prove to be fatal for my car as it's rear window got smashed.

No one knew what happened or rather, the people that's just standing around looking at my car is just there to "kepo". None even helped me with removing the windscreen from the car to the rubbish bin, all have to be done by myself. Anyway, I don't blame them, no one wants to get cut even though I have cut-proof gloves and the window's covered with a layer of strong tint that clings on to the broken window pane strongly.

After seeking permission to go get my car dropped off at the workshop, I proceed to do the next natural thing while waiting for the Ah Wah (The Workshop's owner) to quote me the cost of the whole fix. What's that you might ask? Taking pictures of course. Anyway, it's part of the process as I'll be needing to claim from insurance for the damage as it ain't cheap. The total amount was quoted at RM1,000 and this is using back locally made window panels and not the original Hyundai stuff whic cost more!

Well, have a look at the artistic shots.

Can you see what's missing?

Yup! It's the windscreen!

The Shards

Most likely something fell onto my car cause even my speakers are dented

And the culprit tried to remove the evidence resulting in damage to panel as well!

Another angle of the panel that needs to be welded back :(

The remains of ZeroTohundred's bomber-man was not good.

Another part of the Bomber-man, May he rest in peace.
